Coalition Website Development

Project Overview:

Revitalized and redesigned a fully restructured website for a Community Health Worker (CHW) Coalition. The platform now serves as a central hub for resources, news, and updates, fostering collaboration and engagement among CHWs and stakeholders.

Purpose:

The website aimed to:

Centralize Resources: Provide easy access to tools, updates, and information relevant to CHWs.

– Enhance Communication: Keep coalition members informed about events, opportunities, and initiatives.

– Build Community: Offer a space for CHWs to connect, share experiences, and collaborate on workforce development.

– Increase Accessibility: Make information about CHWs and their contributions easily accessible to diverse audiences.

Key Features:

What We Do Section: Highlights the mission, vision, and objectives of the coalition, providing a clear overview of its purpose and impact.

– Blog: A dedicated space for sharing information, updates, and resources relevant to CHWs and the broader community, fostering education and engagement.

– Newsletter Archive: A comprehensive collection of past newsletters, offering insights into coalition activities, updates, and CHW-focused initiatives.

– Webinar Page: Provides access to recorded webinars, offering valuable training, resources, and discussions for CHWs and public health professionals.

– Our Stories Page: A feature that spotlights CHW members, sharing their stories and contributions to the coalition, with the goal of raising awareness and recognizing the vital role of frontline public health workers.

Process:

Redesigning the website began with assessing the coalition’s needs and aligning the platform’s structure with organizational objectives. A fresh, modern layout was developed to enhance user experience, featuring intuitive navigation and integrated tools such as event calendars, downloadable resources, and news updates. The redesign prioritized accessibility and responsiveness across all devices, ensuring broad usability. Additionally, a Spanish translation feature was implemented to ensure the website’s content is accessible to a wider, diverse audience. Usability testing was conducted throughout the development process, with feedback incorporated to deliver a polished and impactful final product.

Impact:

The redesign of the website has greatly improved accessibility and engagement for CHWs and the broader community. By providing easy access to resources, success stories, and a platform for collaboration, the site strengthens the coalition’s visibility and empowers CHWs with tools for advocacy and development. Additionally, the ability to translate the website into Spanish ensures it serves a diverse audience, further promoting inclusivity and enhancing the reach of the coalition’s work.
