Held during National CHW Awareness Week (August 26–30), the campaign featured five social media posts with infographics, a blog post, evidence-based content derived from literature reviews, and the CHW Workforce Awareness Toolkit. This comprehensive campaign aimed to inform, engage, and empower stakeholders while honoring CHWs for their invaluable role in bridging gaps between communities and healthcare systems.

– Celebrate CHWs: Highlight the efforts and achievements of CHWs in addressing health disparities.

– Share Knowledge: Provide insights on CHW history, roles, and the importance of supporting their work.

– Advocate for Support: Encourage stakeholders to invest in policies and initiatives that empower CHWs.

Key Features:

Process:

Developed and executed campaign by conducting thorough literature reviews to ensure all content was evidence-based and accurate. I created visually appealing infographics and a cohesive strategy that included blog content, social media scheduling, and stakeholder engagement. To enhance the campaign’s impact, I integrated the CHW Workforce Awareness Toolkit, providing actionable resources to support and advocate for CHWs. This strategic approach ensured the campaign was informative, engaging, and aligned with its goals.

Impact:

The campaign successfully amplified awareness of CHW contributions and promoted the importance of investing in the CHW workforce. It engaged a diverse audience of public health professionals, community leaders, and policymakers, fostering greater appreciation and support for CHWs nationwide.
